I hit Joe Pool Lake fishing barge today, and well......one word describes it all: TERRIBLE. smirk. I am going to try a pond tomorrow, but what pond around Grapevine Area have some nice Bass in them? Hurst Chisholm Park is ok, but too much Catfish. Church right off William D. Tate is overrunned with Crappies, Bedford Boy's Ranch Pond was drained last year, and Colleyville Nature Center didn't really work out well with me :P. Any pond thats not big and has bass in them? Kinda ran out of ponds to go :P!

I'd go into southlake. Virtually every neighbor hood has a pond in it. Just drive down 1709 or Continetal and you'll find these ponds.

Nice pond close to 2499 and Gerault in Flower Mound near Home Depot. Easily viewed from road. Fished it for over a year. 1-4lb Bass all day long.

The pond on 2499, Park in the grass, NOT IN FRONT OF THE GATE. Just hop over the fence and walk to it. A property development company owns it. You will never get messed with out there, unless you park in front of the gate.

Why are you fishing a barge for bass? Barges are made for catching crappie and catfish. I'm sure you can catch some there, but you might want to target a more traditional location for LMB's. Don't give up on lakes, they have the bigger fish typically. Grapevine has been producing some really nice bass lately.
