For this month only, Smack Tackle is having a buy one get one free sale. Just go to smacktackle.com and order a lure. You will then have to send an email to Todd@smacktackle.com and give your mailing address to confirm you order. Of course you will have to let Todd know what you prefer for your free lure. Please designate Gizz 3 or Gizz 4, deep or shallow and what color you prefer. Also, you will need to type in the code TFF. This is for a limited time so don't wait.

We have caught many hybrids and stripers and whites on these baits. On a recent trip, we caught 8 keepers between 2 1/2 and 4 lbs. trolling the Gizz 3.

I've got a couple of the shallow running Gizz4's that Scott sent me last season. I don't troll, so my use if them is limited pretty much to Spring and Fall when I'm fishing shallow, but not on top.

They're an excellent lure, and they will get bit on Texoma. They're an EXACT match for a four inch Gizzard, and come out of the box with top flight hooks. I throw them up on shallow points, usually when someone else in the boat is throwing a topwater lure that will get the fish excited. They'll get the hits, but I'll get the hookup!

Poaching... Viking style! smile

Smack Tackle would like to thank all those who participated in our July promotional sale. We hope that the whites, hybirds and stripers all start jumping in the boat for you because they know they wont be able to resist such a realistic looking shad lure. If anyone else would like to see these lures close up, visit the Boat-N-Go on Canyon Lake and The Anglers Loge Tackle Shop on Amistad. They should have a nice selection of colors for you to chose from. Thanks again and spread some Smack.

Hey Scott I am still catching fish on the gizz3 and gizz4. You can throw a gizz3 into schooling fish and get bit without ever moving the bait. That says something about the baits' realism. The gizz4 has produced numerous large hybrids for me as well. Great bait!!

Thanks for the report jbarb. I'm glad these lures are working for you. Spread the word. ensignjason, we may consider another sale if there is enough interest. Stay tuned. We will be coming out with another lure in the fall and might do another promotional sale then. This new lure will flat catch hybrids and stripers. I know because I caught a 21 lber on the prototype last December.

Thanks Mark1, we have a smaller lure also (Gizz 3). Might work on those Texoma stripes. Be looking this fall for our latest lure, it will work at all levels of the water column.
