Sorry that I have been out of touch, but work has been a madhouse.

I did make it out last night. Was another odd night. Caught a lot of small crappie. The only keepers I had were on white bass and 4 11 - 12 inch crappie. Bite was slow and when I did catch fish, they were "lazy", no fight.. couple of times I was not even sure if I had a fish on the line. No bites from cats or larger bass at all.

Normally when I put out the green lights, after an hour or so there are a ton of baitfish under the boat. Last night, no matter where I was there were only a few small minnows.

Hope to make it out tonight again, if not then we will go out tomorrow night.

Not sure if it was anyone from the gang, but some folks rolled up to me near TLP to ask if I was "Billy". Hope they found him! LOL

Hey Belton Bunch! So how'd y'all do today? We'll be out on the water tomorrow, did the yard work today.

Went and checked out the new Dicks sporting store, kinda of disappointed. Thought it would be better than Academy or the same as, I wasn't impressed. They didn't even have Gamakatsu shiner hooks!! I did see that they have the castaway rods priced at $59.99 to Academy $79.99.

hey BB been busy with school. went to the deer lease today to fill some feeders and set up the game cameras also started on building a tree stand so Jerry can bow hunt out of. i am probably goin back tomorow with my uncle. fishin is done for me for awhile Dove season is Monday and that is what i will be doin every chance i get.

Well, shad were fairly easy today, fished from 7pm to around 9pm. Put 7 Hybrids in the boat, missed a couple, small tackle seemed to work the best. We were tryin to work a school with boats doing circles around us!! May try it tomorrow...

Good morning BB.

Heidi and I fished last night from 7 to 11:30. On our way to TLP, we pulled off in a cove to escape the wind and rec boaters while we setup the boat. Humminbird was going nuts, so we anchored there and never moved.

Caught a couple of 15 in or so hybs as well as about 2 nice LMB, 5 small crappie and whites (released). Ended up keeping 9 very nice crappie, 2 channels, and 6 nice whites.

Was a lot of fun. The bite was more aggressive than Friday night. It started about 8 and last for a couple of hours. Caught our last fish about 20 minutes before we pulled out.

We will most likely go out again this evening.

Well, any reports?? I'm taking 3 to 4 friends out on Tues, hopefully I can find um.... Oh carp, I still have fish to clean, luckily a dropped 20 more lbs of ice on them last night, almost forgot.

Since I have not been on the lake in some time I spent most of the early evening over in E-Bay. I added 2 new lures to the collection. Last weekend I got my arse handed to me(1 for 3). This weekend I went 2 for 3. Later got to mow grass early.

8 Hybrids, my 3 to Kristys 5, 2 of her fish went 22" which means she might be winning the box of slabs. Remember tomorrow is the end date, so if you catch a fish and want a chance to win Mandos Slab just post it on a ruler. I'll post a pic of her fish tomorrow.

BTW we caught 1 White and 1 Catfish as a bonus!

Alright, sounds like y'all got on them. The biggest we had on Sat were at 20", so sounds like y'all found some bigger ones. How was traffic on the lake?? Oh yeah, fish are cleaned and ready for some Pablanos, jalepenos and onions over the grill for Monday. Nap time right now. ZZZZZZZZZZ.......

Sounds like you guys had a productive evening. After we talked to you, the bite started again where we were and we ended up catching a few more crappie. When we headed back to get the spare anchor, we ended up calling it a night (@ 1 am).

Hate that we missed you guys. I was wanting Heidi to meet both of you... but what can I say, when that woman is catching fish it is hard to get her to leave... LOL If all else fails, I will drag her by the shop one day.

Total for last night was 4 whites, 6 crappie. Obviously, we were fishing minners.
