That is some good looking work there, really fine! It's obvious that you put a lot of work into those kickboats.

I had to copy and paste that URL into a browser address to see it. A guy showed me that on Flickr, ya have to click on the all sizes button at the top of the picture, choose a size and the copy that URL to display.

When you are logged in to the forum, if you would click on "My Stuff" at the top of the page and then select "Profile", it will pop a page that will allow you to enter your geographic location - like "Austin, TX", or whatever is right for you. You can also update additional info about yourself if you like. When done, click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the web page. Having your location on your posts is nice for the rest of us. I can't quite tell from from your pic how you have securely attached the foot rest bar to the boat. How?

Its attached with big bolts imbedded into the styrafoam with probably a big washer to keep it from pulling out; but i didnt build this boat bought it already bilt about 7-8 years ago

that looks like it's been milled! And Styrofoam ain't the easiest thing in the world to work with!

I got to fish off one today, man i forgot how fun it is to fish down next to the water like a float tube. Caught 1 warmouth perch twice the size of my arkie bug(crawdad) and hooked and quick released a 2 pound bass. I need some fins instead of paddle pushers.

I might make a few for folks that don't have time to build them, if anyone is interested in these miniboats.

I am very interested. I have 2 of the old "waterwagons" but I don't know how much longer they are going to hold up. I love to take my 12 year old son's friends fishing in them. I never want to be without a couple of the them.

I'm interested, but don't have the extra cash. Sounds like a decent deal, and I bet I would like them.

I built one back about 12 years ago out of a styrofoam block I got at a marina for $15. It was about 4' square and I just cut out an area like in the pics here for my legs to hang down. I used an old aluminum tent pole for the handle and foot rest. I cut the foam with a fine blade saw and then used a propane torch on the cut area to just slightly melt the foam so it wouldn't chip off. Put a kayak seat on it and loved fishing out of it until someone stole it!!!
