I am headed to South Padre Island on Saturday.

I haven't done any saltwater fishing since I was a kid. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Time of Day? Good spots to fish? The right kind of tackle to use? I won't have a boat.

I had a trip with Dewitt Thomas a guide there, had a very good time, and got my limit of Trout. That was July 12, 13 of this year.

I'm going back in Oct. for Red Fish.
