You can keep all the yellow bass you want,No size limit,but you can't use them for bait,Yellow bass get into our lake's via creeks and rivers,just like Gar,Carp,Buffalo,We can use these river fish for cut bait,But not Yellow Bass?? Go Figure!

Agreed! Very tasty. I push my customers to keep them just to do my part for population control. It does read pretty clearly in the handbook but I talked to a game warden and let him know that yet I'd never tried it I was wondering and he quickly let me know that using them for bait in any way was a negative...

I would like to see sand bass (yellow bellies, yellow bass) classsified like blue gills. Maybe keep the 50 possession limit but allow them to be used as bait.

If you want some fast action go to Fork and fish the roadbeds with a spoon!!!! Just might get your line streched by a big ole bass or more yellow bass than you want.....

Yeah I have always wondered what they could really do if you caught a yellow and just didnt reel him in. hummmm?!?!
