The fish will bite during the day and during the heat. We spent this past weekend at Cedar Creek for my brother's bachelor party. Saturday morning we fished some main lake humps and boated quite a few blues and channels along with some hybrids, sandies and even a crappie. That afternoon me and another guy took off for some shallow water fishing. We put 14 channel cats up to 3 lbs. on ice in less than two hours on Secret 7. The boat was sitting in less than 2' of water and the water temp was 93.6 degrees. This was between 3:00 and 5:00 and what is typically considered the hottest part of the day. If you can stand the heat and locate fish you shouldn't have any problem catching them right now. But remember, you won't catch them if you don't find them first.
