The DOUBLE ACTION circle hook is a Team Catfish hook. Its a great option for cut baits and live baits. We are using it with the D.R. tubes and mini FURRY's.

The reason we named it the DOUBLE ACTION is folks can set the hook or let the catfish bury the rod and hook themselves, hence "DOUBLE ACTION".

I got my secret 7 today and I'm going to be using it tomorrow at Hubbard. I didnt think to get the bait tubes but I did pick some of the yellow hogwild dip bait tubes at academy. Thanks teamcatfish for getting here quick.

Seriously, fish the Secret 7 as described and you'll catch your fish. That was my first mistake when I started using it was I wasn't using it like Jeff had told me to.

You can get the 36 oz size of Catfish Charlie for $6.99 twice as much bait as the Secret 7 for $9.59. I bet it's the same Co. that makes the stuff.

Thanks for your concern, but we really need to figure this out. I have rolled this around, punched in some #'s, and did my research. This is what I have came up with.

"Secret 7 is the same as Catfish Charlie but with a bigger price." Well....not exactly. Secret-7 is a dip bait. Catfish Charlie has mostly sold dough style baits for years. Yes, Secret 7 is more expensive than Catfish Charlie.

"You can get the 36 oz. size of Catfish Charlie for $6.99 twice as much bait as the Secret 7 for $9.59." Lets look at this statement. The 2-16 oz. pint size tubs of Secret-7 cost $9.59. Combined they have around 32 oz. of bait inside the tubs. This figures out to be 4 oz's less than the 36 oz. tub of Catfish Charlie. The math figures out to this, Catfish Charlie would need to have 64 oz's of bait in it's tub to have twice as much as the 2-16 oz. tubs of SECRET-7.

Catfish Charlie has been catching cats for a long time or it would not still be around. I hope the SECRET-7 is around as long as Catfish Charlie. Their are some large differences in the baits though.....each one has their own stlye and fishability.

I have heard alot about this bait and the cheese bait by someone else but can't find where to order. I think the cheese is a Bill something..not sure...tired of wasting time with d.k. havent caught anything on it this year at all...

I have been using Cat Tracker baits for a while and haven't had a bad outing with them. What Cat Tracker bait is the Secret 7 comparable to? I have been using Wicked Sticky and both Sewer baits and just got a small tub of Shad bait to try.

The SECRET-7 is a little softer than the Wicked Sticky. WICKED STICKY is an awesome product but a it's little hard to work with on cool days. We also have different attractants blended into our bait.
