I'm going to try something new.....soak my fillets in hot sauce for a day....roll in mixture of corn flake/flour.

Fry it up! What do you guys think? Is egg absolutely necessary to get your coating to stick?

i think if you let soak in the hot sauce over night and then put in a egg milk bath it would help the batter to stick. give it a try and tell us what you think.

I put mustard in with sauce 1/2 bottle tobassco 16 or so oz. mustard makes good msoaker will not taste mustard, then shake off some then corn meal

Picante sause and white bass that way works really well. I have also used the mustard and tobassco with catfish, it is very good.
