"I'm not talkin' 'bout pleasure boatin' or day sailin'. I'm talkin' 'bout workin' for a livin'. I'm talkin' 'bout sharkin'! "

"Your husband's all right, Mrs. Brody. He's fishing. He's just caught a couple of stripers. We'll bring 'em in for dinner. We won't be long, we haven't seen anything yet. Over and out."

Have an acquaintance, guy by the name of Lefty Ray Chapa, who guides kayak fishing for Reds and trout down in the Coastal Bend area, and i imagine he's tackled a shark or two as well.

www.leftyray.com, if any of you want to discuss a hookup!

I have guided summer time shark trips on the Texas coast for the last 10 years and you can not believe how many sharks are out there, I will continue to guide trips for sharks but no kayak for me as we have caught way more big bull sharks then I care to swim with. The spinner sharks are not as likely to bite you as a bull but when they get hooked they take off and usually jump a few times, a 6 foot spinner going 40 MPH and landing in your lap might smart a little
