Had a fire in my shop, my rods were about 20ft. from main fire. They were not visually damaged except for melted mono. Anyone know how to check them for damage other than fishing with them.

I don't think he meant the rods were 20ft long. I think he meant the rods he has, were - 20ft away - from the fire. Otherwise, yeah that would be kind of nuts.......how would you transport those suckers? Bet you could cast halfway across the lake though....hell the pole would reach as far as some of my casts wink

On topic, I do not know of a way, other than either fishing with them, or hooking you line to a cinder block and simulating the motions/strains of fishing with them.
