Fished today here in the UK (Northumberland) and am happy to report a 3 fish bag, all rainbows. The first to be netted was a 4 lb'er, the second was a 3 1/2 lb'er and the last was a 3 lb'er. All caught on a Muddler, olive color.

Pictures to follow on my return home in a few days.

Sounds like a fun trip!

Try and catch some barbel while you're there hehe, they'll outfight those trout, and they look weird as heck lol.

That might be what I rename it. It is actually an arm off the River Irthing in Cumbria. Secluded and beautiful.

Sorry troops but I gave the credit to the wrong fly in my initial post. They all were caught on a fly they call a Dawson Olive, not a "Muddler" as stated earlier.
