Just remember Robin, if you beat any of my records at Caddo Lake your house may blow up one night when you're sound asleep.

I'm looking forward to this trip! Spoke to Dennis last night, sounds like it will be a grand time. Real down to earth and friendly.

Of course there will be tons of photos if I can set down my fly rod long enough to take any photos.

Ok Dennis and Robin, there are several of my records that you might be able to easily beat this Sunday. My bluegill record is 0.28# and is easy to beat. My drum record is 0.66# and it should not be a real challenge to beat. The one I'd really like to see beat is the state fly fishing record for warmouth which is 0.61#, Government Ditch should have one bigger than that. The warmouth record for Caddo is only 0.50#. There is currently no largemouth bass fly fishing record at Caddo.

Dennis you could then advertise yourself as a guide who puts his clients on record fish. Robin needs a few records anyway.

Are Shorty and Frog still at Johnson's?

Good luck!!

I hope to have some one out here in Feb or Mar, that when we see the 8 to 11 lbs bass come off Caddo in good numbers.
Or Maybe I will have to take up fly fishing, I have a 3wt, 5wt & 8wt, I just have learn how to use it
Im going to get our scale certified in the month or two when we have time, or just make time i guest.

If there is time and you are inclined, we can squeeze in some casting lessons. I've learned a few things from some real experts like Old Al, Steve Hollensed and Left Kreh and will do my best to share out what I learned from them.

Now I need to get off of these inter-pipes and get my kit together!
