Looks like a great trip for somebody. A shame it is in August. I couldn't handle the heat, especially all day. Bummer. Now if it was in the fall, I would sign up, or try to...hehehe.

We will be fishing the upper river area, it not has hot as the main lake.

I'd love to go since I have all the fly fishing records for Caddo, including state fly fishing records for pike and yellow bass that I caught at Caddo, but it would cost me over $100 in gas alone just to make the trip. When I lived in Tyler I fished there quite a bit, but now that I live in Dallas, it's a lonnngggg haul to Caddo.

Even free ain't free anymore

I would love to sign up for a free chance, but I have a big job I am on and wont be able to make it on a Monday or Tuesday!

Well all I can say is that whoever the lucky duck is, a day fly fishing on Caddo ought to be just fantastic! Plus the TV exposure, who knows, might be a spin-off show.

Have a 1/2 day trip plan for tomorrow to see if the Bream are going bite, they have been in the river for the past 3 weeks. As long as the water temp. is from 80 to 90 they will be in the river. Fishing around the cypress trees, lily pads and the many boat docks.

Oh my, that is fly fishing heaven, up in the weeds and trees and tossing under docks
