He has the fever. Good for him.
Yes, hand tied jigs are beautiful and they work, but plastic works and it's cheaper. I use both.

Thump it Jigs......... I came up with this idea a year ago or more and it is to use nibbles either with the bait pump or an oral syringe to turn the nibbles into a paste. I used a small piece of what is called connecting tubing for making tube flies. You can slip this piece of tube on most any jig and squeeze the nibbles into it and the paste last a long time. This way you don't lose the nibbles so fast. Skip You can see the tube in place here...

Mr CrappieMaster did show me the art of squeezing "Berkeley nibble paste" into tube jigs though and agree, the scent and material does last longer. It'd be cool to figure out a method to do this with hair jigs.

You guys don't understand that for the past three to four years, I have been trying to hunt this man down. His jigs are some of the best that I have ever used, and I have used many that are listed on here. I don't know how he keeps the paint on the heads, but I have jigs of his that are four years old that are still killing fish to this day. Crappie Dale, I need a place to order your jigs.

SwallowItJigs catch fish ask Jerry. Those look like the jigs CV(SlabMeSilly)makes and puts flash into. I'll admit, I've done pretty good on his, Skip's, and Jigum's jigs. I do like that CV puts some glitter in his heads and they do look realistically like minner heads. Ah, the competition, gotta love it!

"CrappieDale" " niblets smiblets ! go plain jane young man !save that money and get ya a burger I'll respectfully disagree with your post, but though I can catch them w/o nibbles occasionally, they do help induce the bite a little quicker (and yes, presentation is a key too). This goes for hair and tube jigs. To each their own and depends on the bite that day and time of year. Debate is a good thing, though. I will say this though for those who buy nibbles at Wally-World or elsewhere...don't bother with the other brands. Tried em' all and none match up with Berkley's crappie nibbles for scent, duration, and effectiveness.
