Reckless Kelly released the song first(actually think they wrote it) and CCR plays it occasionally at some of their shows. Either band singing it live is GREAT!. I gotta say though I like the Reckless Kelly version better. Their new CD called "Bulletproof" is very good. Probably one of the most under-rated bands in Texas. I saw their singer Willy do an acoustic duet with Wade Bowen on Merle's "Sing Me Back Home" that literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up it was so good. Also love me some "Wiggles and Ritalin"!

Mark, you are correct. RK did write it and release it. I like both as well but I really get a kick with CCR's live version... "we'd like to do a song by our friends from Stanley Idaho, now based in Austin Texas, Reckless Kelly.... cux they're bad arse"
