No, its just like I predicted. The gas and oil prices would
FALL, months before the election. Just like happened in 2004.
It wont matter because McCain will lose anyway.

It wont matter because McCain will lose anyway. That makes no sense at all. I guess I ought to consider the source.

I'm glad to see it. I'll be in Maine and Canada for the next 3 weeks starting Monday and it has been pushing $5/gal there and well be renting a car and driving around a thousand miles. Every lil bit helps.

Good reason for that, TBass.....it didn't happen.
How about we all move to Oslo where they're paying ~$12.00/ gal? This in the fourth largest oil exporter in Europe??

Oh the Pelosi's of Congress are just FLIPPING...... Bush opened up drilling, investors are pulling out of comodities futures to invest elsewhere AND as a result, the dollar is gaining ground so now gas is going down.....imagine that.

I was hoping it would drop more by Thursday. I'm down to less than 1/4 of a tank so I have to fill up. Maybe I'll get lucky and save a nickel or two.

Cheapest here in S.A. is $3.76 at just a few stations, with the majority hovering around the $3.80 mark.
They can't let those prices go too low because they want to make a nice profit since they've got us used to paying $3.98 around here for the last week.

Well.....I see that they have succeeded at brainwashing us to believe that gas over $3.50 a gallon is cheap.
Are our memories that short?
I remember gas at $.99 a gallon in S. California in 1999. That's not that long ago folks.
In 2002 here in Texas it was $1.23 a gallon.
How soon we forget. I was thinking the exact same thing. Society has short term memory only. Remember when that boxer what's his name bit off another boxer's ear and we all hated him? And when that one chick at Bone Daddy's did... something I forget but it had to do with an ear.

Caught the tail end of this on the news today, but someone is proposing that since the American people were able to weather the storm of paying over $4.00 a gallon for gas that we can now take the burden of having .10 cents a gallon tacked onto the price of gas to help pay for our highways!
These people are out of touch, and I don't know if it's the state or federal, but I thought they said federal.
I'm sure we will hear more about it, at least I hope!
Get a rope!

Get a rope! There is no tax that they do not deeply love. Out of touch is an understatement. I'm convinced they will not get it until we are at their front doors with pitchforks and torches.
