Have you ever been there? I can remember flying in there and seeing the shacks that literally almost touch the runway. I've never seen such an overcrowded and poor place...it's an eye opener.

If you go to http://maps.google.com and zoom as far as you can on Mexico City, look at how crowded they are. Notice how all the buildings touch each other, with no space between...those are shacks or at best concrete 1-story bldgs.

And you want to talk about traffic??!??!! Holy Carp is it whacky there!!

Seriously though, it's an eye opening place and something that will put our way of lives up here into perspective...

That is why all the Mexicans are coming up here to turn this place into another Mexico City. Why not? It's been such a marvelous success.
