Roger is one of those guys that would be a success no matter what he did...just look at his personal dealings.

Is there anyone in or out of the NFL that has had his kind of overall success?

Anything from Staubach is a good read but I think the author is assuming too much and you can tell somewhat from the response or rather the resistance to the leading question.

"Are you surprised how quickly Romo has become one the league's top quarterbacks?"

According to who? Correct me if I'm wrong but it is my impression that Romo has never won a playoff game. He reminds me of an Elwood always coming from behind. In my opinion he does not YET have the winning consistency of a Troy Aiken, Joe Montana, or even Terry Bradshaw. Which I think has to do with his focus which given his engagement hopefully will be a little better this season.

Pray that Roger will saddle-up and run for Governor of Texas....

Perry would be toast, burnt toast, carbonized toast....

Roger is a class act. But I've also had the pleasure of dealing with a couple of other "good 'ol boys" too. As long as you don't talk football, they are down to Earth. YOu bring in football talk on their own time, and they will scatter like flees!

I don't understand why everone is so down on Romo. "Romo can't do this, Romo can't do that, Romo isn't as good as Aikman, Staubach, or Montana ". Dang people give the man his chance.Yes he flubbed the hold in the playoff game against Seattle and Dallas did lose the playoff game to the Giants. Lets see..... Romo has been the starter for only a season and a half and has been to the playoffs twice. Aikman didn't make it to the playoffs until his third season and lost in the playoffs. Montana drafted in 1979 didn't even go to the superbowl until Jan 1982. Staubach drafted in 64, quarterback in 69 didn't make it to superbowl until Jan 1971. So come on people lighten up on Romo a little bit. I'm not saying he is the best quarterback in the NFL or anything like that but he is D*** good. The best the Cowboys has had since Aikman.

Did you guys see Roger's record of games played at Texas Stadium?

I think it was 51 and 14. That's what I call home team advantage !
