Well I got kicked off the golf course lake this past weekend in Frisco and was looking for another local place to go fishing. I was told that Lake Grapevine would probably be the best for wading out.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Shame about the golf course. There's always the night.
How about those lakes over in the Frisco Commons? Ever fished those? may not be wadable but I bet those edges might produce.

And that creek that runs out of the golf course, is there any public access to it? Creeks can be fantastic fishing spots and, unless it's all that black gumbo dirt, pretty much wadable.

Thanks, I haven't been over to Frisco Commons. I was kicked off of the Plantation Golf Course over on Lebanon. It was in the evening when the the golfers weren't there. Oh well.

I'll try to give Frisco Commons a shot, although with as hot as its been lately, it might be a little difficult.

Roger that on the hot. Wee hours or late at night can be good bassing. Bluegills come out a lot just before night and just as dawn breaks.
