I never once considered voting for either of the democratic front runners. Not that McCain is my first choice....but he's all we have, now.

I would have a very hard time voting dem and in this election as in the last several there is no way I would vote dem. But I can say that my fiance was going to vote for Obamarama but now she has decided to not vote at all. She has a hard time voting for the lesser of 2 evils, but I don't have a problem with that lol.

McCain is kind of weak in my book, but a whole lot better than the Dem trash out there.

I live in Cedar Hill right behind a voting place. During the primaries, there was constant Obama chanting.

If you were even considering voting for a democrat, you must be a card or two short of a full deck.

Isn't it racist not to vote for Obama? You should be ashamed or at least feel guilty.

Since the election has not taken place you cannot change a vote you have not cast.
You may consider changing your opinion but you would be breaking the law if you told the election officials you wanted to change your vote.

My children say that at Cedar Hill High School, this is what everyone is saying. If you don't vote for Obama, you must be racist. But then again, I have never heard of more reverse racism as what goes on at this school. Funny thing is, that my 17 year old white son, who was constantly barraged by racist commnets when we first moved here, is now a card carrying white person hater loco

I changed my vote in the primary from Fred Thompson to Hillary Clinton, just to keep the fun going...

Now I'll change my vote from Fred Thompson (as a write in) to John McCain to keep Obama out of office.

Is John McCain my first choice? No, he wasn't my second or even third in the primaries, but he's a lot better than Obama. He'll keep the unnecessary spending down, he'll finish the job in Iraq and Afghanistan and he'll take care of Iran and Russia if they don't stop their antics. He won't handle illegal immigration in the fashion we conservatives would like unless we force him to by sending very conservative people to both houses of Congress...

well, I think we need a guy with good opinions on both side to get into the mix.

I know its to late, but I hate haveing to vote either way.

Why cant we get a guy in there that wants to produce oil "HERE", yet still can go into the other parts of the world and regain their trust, also someone that doesnt "jump" from war to war, just becasue he thinks he is God.

Say what you will about McCain, believe me I have a few times myself, but the man doesn't like pork, earmarks, entitlements, whatever you want to call it...He didn't agree with the Bush tax cuts because they didn't address a similar cut in spending and he was right....

That's like saying your gonna whip your kids behind because the neighbor's kid wet the bed. McCain's argument didn't hold water then and it doesn't hold water now. Why should I be penalized in the form of higher taxes because the members of congress can't curb their spending?
I despise every democrat in congress, but there are a bunch of republicans that I despise as well. If McCain does get elected, if the American People give the Democrats Veto Proof Majorities, there will more than likely be enough Republicans that side with them to get super majorities to raise you taxes, and spend your money. A pox on all of them....The only reason I will vote for McCain, is because deep down in my heart, I believe he will do less damage to American Society, than will Obama.

You missed the point of his argument then and my argument now...Of the two candidates, which one is likely to veto spending bills, Obama (the guy who got money for the Catholic church the infamous Hillary impersonating priest is at) or McCain, the guy who didn't agree with a tax cut because spending wasn't addressed as well...He's already stated he wants to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, but that he wants spending curbed as well, as it should be.

McCain isn't my first choice by a long shot, but when it comes to which one is right on spending it wasn't Bush, it isn't Obama, sadly it is McCain...

Kingwood you may be Right on some points, but the reality is

that President Bush was NOT a Republican. He led the REAL GOP

to a dead end. I truly believe that Obama will win in November

only because most Americans want a new direction. I dont blame

them for that. To just pretend that the Democrats would make

things worse does not hold water. Not to me, anyway?

not get in trouble. Have you ever heard of respect of opinions?

Just asking?

Just which one of the hundred or so opinions that you have posted do you want me to respect...Nevermind you probably can't keep track of them since they are so scattered ,you will not be able to think of it....Just setting the record straight for you.. de

In all probability I'll vote for McCain, UNLESS he picks Mitt Romney as his running mate. Then I'll very likely stay home.

Not that it will really matter as Texas is going to go into the McCain column no matter how any of we TFFers vote. If I lived in say Ohio I'd have to really search my soul if McCain were to pick Romney.

Romney is Slick! He is another phony.

He is back and forth on issues.

If Obama chooses Edwards or Richardson he will WIN big.

If Obama chooses Hillary its a tossup?

If McCain chooses a GOOD candidate then its EVEN odds.

McCain had better choose the right guy or gal?

Advantage Obama.

What part of Democrats are nothing more than Communists by another name, do you not understand? For a guy that values his own opinion, it would do you good to look at the history of the democratic party since 1940. On the other hand, you make no bones about your socialist views. That's why I pay no attention to a word you write.

How can you say Romney is a phony and support obammy...He adds a whole new meaning to the word PHONY....I'll give you a chance to convince me by listing anything that obammy has done while he has been in office or what he stands for...other than turning the country i love into a place no one wants to live in...Unless you can't think for yourself or want a nannystate...

Romney supports gay rights, then he doesnt

He supports welfare programs then he doesnt.

He supports State run Healthcare then he doesnt.

He is NOT a Real Republican. Another liberal GOP.

He has toured the United States of America, and convinced a HUGE

amout of folks that he can be President of the United States of

America. He won nearly 30 States? How did he do that? I dont

know. That PROVES to me right there, that the GOP is in trouble.
