I've been some jug fishing during the mornings at 16 foot depths and doing pretty good on the blues. Planning a night trip this weekend. Do you think I should stick with the 16 foot depth or will they be much shallower for the nighttime? I am in open water next to some flats.

I would fish a similar depth, but make your bait higher in the water column.
