whent out for the first time to white bass fish and i loved it and i would quit catfishing for it it is so much fun clap clap

wading out into a school of whites or taking the boat out on the colorado river when they are making their run in the spring is pretty fun. Just have to do both in moderation wink

Catching white bass is a ball and when you get on them the action is fast and almost nonstop. Fishing for white bass when they are not cooperating though is a lot less fun than kicking back waiting for a rod to double over when the cats aren't biting. I do a lot of white bass fishing in the spring when they run up here where I live but the rest of the year I like doing the catfish thing.
