I bought this boat from an elderly gentleman with health problems who hadn’t used it in 2 years. He had it stored in a boathouse on a small lake by my house. It’s a 2002 Triton 175 Crappie. It’s 17' long with a 50 HP 4-stroke 4-cylinder model # 50ELHPT EFI. It is extremely quiet and hardly uses gas. The motor looks brand new. I would guess the motor has less than 30-40 hours on it. The lake where he kept it is small, you can run from one end of the lake to the other in a few minutes, and all he did was crappie fish. I weigh over 220 pounds and it runs right at 38-40 mph. I already have a 21’ Stratos or I would definitely keep this boat for the fuel economy. It has a lot of storage. I had a certified Mercury mechanic rebuild all 4 carbs, do a complete tune-up, and flush the system. It has a 2004 Motorguide 43lb thrust trolling motor, brand new BPS cranking battery, brand new Interstate trolling battery, new Eagle Cuda 168 on the front and an X-45 at the bow. It has remote tilt/trim at the front deck as well as at the shifter.
• Built-in removable Igloo cooler
• Wood grain dash
• Live well and 2 bait wells w/buckets
• Three pedestal bases for the seats
• 13-gallon internal gas tank
• Spare tire and carrier
• Stainless steel prop
The trailer looks like it has hardly been used since he kept the boat at the lake. The only negatives with it are that one seat has a rip at the top that I fixed as well as I could and the other seats are somewhat faded. There are a few places where the carpet has small pieces missing such as the corners of lids. This boat is an all-welded all aluminum so there is no wood to rot ever and no rivets to leak. This boat is awesome for crappie or bass fishing. I have hull decals on order. They should be here soon. They don’t make the 175 Crappie anymore, so the decals will say TC17. NADA lists the low retail at $7,960 and $8,985 for average retail.
Would like to get $7,800. PM me for any questions. I have title and registration in hand. I am located right across the Texas border at Barksdale Air Force Base. I would be willing to meet a reasonable distance for a serious buyer.
