I always stay at Alpine Marina. It's across the lake from Cypress bend- Texas side.

I stay at Toledo Town inn. The place was remodeled, and they put in all new furniture, carpet, sinks/counters, bedding, curtains, etc. The rooms have Microwves, and small ice boxes also. It is not on the lake, but it is not far, and located by Toledo Town Tackle, resturants, and a grocery store. Phone number: 1-888-686-5336 or (318) 256-0540

Holly Park Marina has some nice motel rooms with kitchenets in them that are reasonable.

after a recent trip to Falcon I have learned that as a female my standards in lodging are quite a bit higher than my husbands. Having said that I recommend the cabins at Frontier Park. We have been there several times and always stayed in Cabin G3 or G4. The cabin is a park model that is designed like a small log cabin, very cute and very clean.
Good luck in the tournament!

I know it may be a little bit of a drive but check out Fin & Feathers Resort on TX side in the Housen Bay area. The new owner has come in and done a complete makeover. New paved roads, remodeling, Restaurant with a bar, new rv sites and good launch ramp

Ranger,
This will be my first time to fish Toledo - Is it a straight shot over to Cypress Bend from Alpine? Is there timber to look out for or can I make a good run over to Cypress from Alpine?

Also, any tips on catfishing Toledo? I actually like fishing the grass like bass fishing - does Toledo have a lot of hydrilla?

Thanks!
