I have a foot controled Minn Kota and some times when I step on the power botten nothing happens, but if I pull it up and let it slam back down it starts to work. It is starting to happen more and more frequently. Any Ideas?

Sounds to me like you may be having some sort of continuity problems.

Next time it doesn't want to turn on try turning the prop. If its brushes or a bad spot on the armature it should start turning. Its going to need to be taken in to fix if that is the problem.

The armature is going out, thats the problem. If you can bang it, or spin the prop and it starts working, in my experience its been the armature every time

Dead spot on the armature for sure. Need to get the armature and the brushes replaced.

Changed out the Armature and will test it out tomorrow.

The 101 had armature problems but hopefully its still under warrany try Allstar.Mine had water in the head and they changed it out.
