3M also makes a spray boat cleaner/wax. It's good for cleaning up right after I get the boat out of the water. I've been looking for Bass Boat Saver but haven't been able to locate any around my area.

Just made an order direct from BBS. Closest dealer was in East Texas. Pledge works for cleaning but has no UV protection for Gel and Clear coats.

Bow to Stern is a great product. It provides outstanding UV protection, is easy to apply and long lasting. I've been using it for a while now and am really pleased with the product.

lemon pledge has been known to look good for a while and then slowly ruin the finish on your boat especially the motor cowling, but it sure does look good for the time being! how ever, i bit it while standing on side of the boat, talk about some slippery stuff. mc guires, babes, bass boat saver, they're all are quality product.

For what it's worth here is a earlier post on TFF from James Caldemeyer a guide out at Fork about Bow To Stern Protectant. BTS is also used by many of the BASS Pros including KVD, Jason Quinn, Dean Rojas and Denny Brauer. BTS offers the same benefits as Bass Boat Saver and a lot more. If you talk to Scott Gordon AKA SCOTTABA here on the forum ask him about BTS.

Post from J. Caldemeyer:

As a professional guide and tournament angler that spends around 250 days a year on the water, as you can imagine, my boat stays in the water! I use to use Bass Boat Saver to clean and maintain my boat for a long time, but was introduced to Bow To Stern-All Surface Protectant(BTS) a few years ago (before they became a sponsor) and I cannot describe to you how much better that this stuff is than Bass Boat Saver!! You just have to try it and see for yourself...

The product gives the boat a much deeper shine that lasts longer and stays on the gel coat better than BBS. This, in turn, means less applications, less work, and less money spent to keep your boat looking great. I use to get so frustrated with scum lines on my boat(even after one or two applications of Bass Boat Saver) and I was really amazed after one usage of BTS that I did not retain the scum anymore. This product is so versatile and has a number different usages too. You can use it on anything from boat equipment to electronics.
If more people were aware that this product is available, they would throw all of their other cleaners and wax in the trash. I believe that it superior to anything on the market and I have used it all- from quick detailer to Bass Boat Saver and it is unmatched!
Look for my article soon on this great new product here on the forum and if you see me at Lake Fork or are there for the Toyota tournament, ask me for a sample and you can thank me later after you've tried it.

Sincerely,
James Caldemeyer

For preserving your boat, this stuff is incredible! With new boats running upwards of $50-60K, you need to protect that investment. Whether it's a new boat or an older model, BTS will keep it shining for years to come and increase the resale value when you get ready to sell/trade. Money is getting tight these days and if we can spend the kind of money we do on all our fishing equipment, we can afford to spend a few more bucks maintaining things.

I got the BTS in about a week ago and have used it the past few times that I have been out. This stuff is awesome. I made my MinnKota 101 look brand new and really shined up the gel coat. It's also great on the motor cowling, took those water spots right out. Thanks for the recommendation.

I finally got a hold of some and as Shane pointed out I have never used anything that made my trolling motor, seats, and everything made of plastic or rubber look brand new like this stuff did. So far a month or so down the road it hasn't faded either.
Took the grandkids for a day of swimming and boat riding at Richland Chambers. They were swimming and would get in the boat and track mud and dirt in it. It sit at my house for another week before I took it down to the car wash and when I started spraying the boat down you could really tell how it protected the finish of the boat and anything on the boat just sprayed right off and the water beaded like crazy.
I can't wait to really do another wipe down with the stuff and really do some buffing on it. My 2001 black and white Ranger 520 has not looked this good since I got it.
I'm looking forward to getting some more.

I've been using Aerospace 303 protectant, but its expensive. My neighbor has a 70K ski boat and he uses stuff called Ducky and swears that it is the best stuff going. You can get it locally (West Marine, BoatersWorld), ect.. so you don't have to pay for shipping and its cheaper than the 303, Bass Boat Saver and BTS.

Anyone know anything about that Ducky stuff?

Glad to hear that you like BTS. It keeps my boat looking great and you are right about removing the water spots on the motor.
