Taking wife and kids to texoma. Any suggestions would be helpful. They still hitting topwater by the dam? We are staying at the lighthouse. Thanks.

fishing is great but slabs been the ticket for us for weeks...you will find big groups of fish however they are moving fast with lot's of pressure so play nice smile

I went couple days ago, evening on the water around TI point cove schooling bunch of dinks on topwater by the rocks,bigger fish on slab till dark,just look for splash,birds,boat show and special in the morning around 6:00 at washita point..schooling and lots of boats... I rather go tawonki...but now I know whats all the hype about on the reports....lots of dinks..hahah good luck

Are they hitting well enough it doesn't matter color of slab? I've heard Chrome/blue, and white....and are we talking 1/4, 1/2, or 3/4? Or is it you throw it in and they hit it...

i've been using everything all in 1.5 and 2oz in various shapes and patterns...different days...different ways. i haven't seen all these "dinks" but i'm fishing big baits very aggressive on deep water schooling.

I caught 'em there yesterday on 2 oz. chartreuse slabs from Washita Point north to the bridge. Lots of danged traffic out there, break away from the boat shows if you can...good luck; the fish are moving pretty fast.

I was up there with my wife on the 16th-17th. With the help of a couple of guys that post on here all the time (Ruben and J D Lyle) we caught a bunch of fish with the biggest being an 8 pounder. Like J D says they are schooling all over the lake. I caught the big one down by the dam.
