I'm about $11k short of putting down 20% on a new house and I'm selling the boat and everything. Quite honestly, I don't really fish that much. Last year, I fished about 6 times. This year I've probably been out 10 times. I still intend to fish but I've got two other burning priorities right now. My wife and I found a house that we are going to buy. I want to put 20% down to avoid PMI - or if it turns out I don't sell it in time, then the money will go to expanding the shop that is on the property to accommodate my business. In addition, my business is doing well and next spring I'm looking at expanding probably by buying another company. All things I'll need additional money for. So you see, the boat is a luxury for me and I just don't need it right now. So there's the reason why!

The what. I recently purchased this boat from a friend who was the original owner. The boat was inspected prior to purchase and it is structually sound and the motor specs just fine. It recently had a new lower unit put on about 1 year ago. In that time, the boat probably has 15 hours. I just picked the prop up from the shop to get it balanced and a few nicks cleaned up and you can now shave in the reflection it is so clean. The carpet is a little over a year old and the batteries are practically brand new. I am currently getting new custom bucket seats built - I won't even have them for another week. And I also purchased an almost new (6 month old) Minn-Kota 36 volt 101 lb foot controlled trolling motor w/lift assist to put on. The trolling motor will still have about a 2 year factory warranty on it. There are no electronics on the boat - they were out of date and I just gave them back to the original owner.

A few specs about the boat: Back in the day, this 201 Pro Elite was the shitz. It has dual separate livewells with dual pumps/aerators/pump outs for both. The console on the bow can control your timing of aerators and all kinds of other stuff. It really has a button for everything. It is 20' comes with the dual axle trailer with brakes, a custom nylon cover, on board battery charger and sports a 225 carbed Johnson. It has a manual CMC jackplate and teleflex trim on the steering. I've been in the boat before I bought it with the original owner who is about 6'7" and weighs over 300 lbs. I'm pushing 240 and with both of us, it will haul the goods.

The worst thing about this boat is the gel coat. It has sunbaked a little too much. In addition, I've had a handful of nicks and gouges that come with a 10 yr old boat patched and repaired but didn't have the gel coat sprayed to match. How could you or why since the old gel coat was faded? The rub rail was also removed just to inspect things and a new one will be installed here shortly. You can clearly see these in the pictures. My intention was to get the boat wrapped like my truck (see pic)

I can assure you, my truck looks nicer now than it ever has (of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder). Besides, a wrap is a lot cheaper and I could've written it off on my taxes. So I wasn't really worried about the condition of the gel and it is only on the top cap - who knows, maybe you'll inspect it and won't be that big of a deal to you. Also, the plastic on the guages are faded.

clicky for slideshow - corny, I know

Now regarding my personal stuff: I've got about 8 baitcasters and 2 spinning rods. Most of the stuff is pretty high quality with my reels being Revo SX's and Curado's and one Quantum PT. The rods are a mix of BPS, St. Croix, G Blanks, Berkley flippin stick, etc. I've got a lot of spinnerbaits, hardbaits, and more plastic than you would probably ever need. In addition, I probably have close to 100 Gambler swim blades and a bunch of hair jigs; a Falcon carry bag with Falcon cases, two additional worm bags, a prop wrench, 2 life jackets, and God knows what else. I just want it gone and don't want to move it.

A few "rules" about my sale. These are the only pics I'm going to post as I would expect if you to be serious than you would want to preview the boat yourself. Please do not reply to this post but simply PM me or simply call me as my phone number isn't hard to find in this post. I will not trade, barter, split things up or finance and you probably won't find me in the mood to negotiate much.

As an FYI, you can go to www.capitalone.com (click on personal loans) and probably find out if you can get approved in less than 30 minutes. I borrow money from them all the time and find if you have decent credit they have just as competitive rates as everyone else and the process is simple. A $15k loan at 6.99% interest for 60 months will cost you roughly $300 a month. I had insurance quoted on this at less than $40 per month for FULL coverage. So that should give you an idea as to what you would be getting yourself into financially.

Sorry for the long post.

I forgot to add that I have pre-paid for a year's worth of storage for this at Lewisville Boat Storage. There are about 11 months left on the contract. If you live in Lewisville and surrounding areas and that is convenient for you, than I will include that as well. If not, than I will deduct from the asking price. So you see, I'm willing to negotiate some smile
