that is what we call a rabbit fish . Its front teeth stick out like a rabbits. last time I saw one was gezzzzzzzzzz 20 yrs or more ago when my daughter caught one off the old Judy Beth Bay boat . Dam that was long ago .I can not remember what the Captain said its real name was thou . Hell I can't even remember that Captains name now been so long .

I think it is called a sculpin. I have never caught one but I remember my bro saying they were slimy......

They are excellent eating.....Tasty Toadies!

Here's how you clean them....their guts are poisonous so just eat the meat. Fried they are awesome, use to catchthem and eat them all the time in Palm Beach Florida.
The section he pulls out in the video is all meat, no rib cage, just a backbone. We also use to wade around in the oysterbeds at night and gig them.

we call them oyster fish back in Louisiana "Opsanus beta" You can eat them, and yes they will bite the hell out of you too. Becareful, they have pit bull jaws.
