Hey! Bit late huh!

Well.....we got up and going at 1:30am and at the lake by 2:45. nonstop until sun up. The boys had a blast and are ready to go again tonight. Not sure dad is though. The little one spent most of the time trying to catch the minnow swimming around the lights. Funny stuff. After about 7 things slowed W A Y down and tried to get the other coach and his boy on some fish. only 5 or so. Maybe next time.

Well... we are out of the raft and will be headed out in our ranger tonight. We will not know how to act being able to get out in real water. To date we have only fished the BLORA area. Looking forward to getting on the lake.

Taking minnows, shrimp, blu yeller can, fermented maize and corn, nightcrawlers, punch bait, ....

Any suggestions for us "belton novies"? We will be putting in at BLORA and headed to.....

or maybe i just need to follow the oil slick towards the green light... lol

4 hours til dark. My hook settin arm is gettin a little twitchie. Any pointers caoch?

Think I am to drained to make it out......but who knows. Been taking down and moving a Stone fence about 6 inches......Bitchy neighbor in Salado said it was on his property.......I was helping a friend. If it was my house I woulda told him to move it himself...........

Special shrimp. believe it or not the black shrimp that was on sale at HEB yesterday worked better than the normal ol' pinkish. Who knows why.
light sunk about 3'. We caught a tremendous number of 16-17" hybrids and quite a few big ole whites. I had to triple check the tooth patch on a few and decided to chunk a couple back because I was questioning myself "Hybrid or White.......If you are questioning it, chunk em back."

And I ought to be the one looking for pointers from you denver.

I was only looking for Three things. location, location, location. I'm taking my BBQ team sponser out tonite. Gotta keep him happy.

WTG Coach! No fish in Belton!

Gotta figure out how to find the more mature hybrids . I guess I need to start hooking the boat up and having it ready to go at any moment. That way when F4F pulls out of the driveway, I can follow. We went up the lake to see if we could find any familiar faces and do some but struck out. I think I might launch at Rogers from now on though. Kinda a mid point of the lake. Still learning the lake folks, We are trying.

i will have to post some pics of the striper jigs we trolled with. my dad used to sell the dog out of these to the people going to lake spence. i think i will male some more now
