A buddy and I actually hit Ray Bob last night from about 7 PM to 1 AM. Not sure how many we caught, but we did well and missed many more including 3 breakoffs. Most of our fish came on crankbaits and soft plastic around rocks and rip rap. We did boat a couple just before dark on topwaters. Boulders/ rocks near the dam were pretty good as were rip rap around some boat ramps. Fish that were boated ranged in size from about 4 lbs on down and like I said we broke off 3-4 that were really nice fish. This was my first time back on Roberts in a couple of years, hopefully it wont be that long for me again.

Last weekend sandies on top but not for long. Evening tubing sandies on top but not for long. Yesterday 7pm-8:30pm saw no fish on top.
Question? What lure are you fishing in the dark? Sounds like something I would like to try. 80 year old dad dose not like getting skunked.

Most of our fish the other night came on dark crankbaits and dark worms/ superhogs. When I say dark, I mean black and blue or june bug. If you fish the chunk rock around privacy cove and the damn, you should do ok. Also look for rip rap around the various boat ramps. Tank dams would also be a good area to try if you know of any. I am not big on navigating the timber at night, so I tend to stick to open areas like rip rap.
