Need help and need it bad. Going to Los Cabos this coming August and staying at a resort for 11 nights. I like to do some surf fishing in the early hours of the morning. Can some one advise on Tackle (rods and reels, model #) bait and so on. I don't mind spending extra cash for gear, and the rod has to be a travel rod, St. Croix has a 4 piece called the triumph.

My advice is to be very careful on the beaches there! Rogue waves come out of nowhere and can catch you off guard. Many tourists die on those beaches every year because they underestimate the currents.
