Perhaps he got my old room, lol.... As I was leaving there the Nurse that walked me out the door was one of my attending nurses when I was last there on April 22nd...
She said "See you in another couple of months", with a laugh.. I certainly hope & pray she is wrong.....

Alright, trying to figure out if to leave and go catch the evening bite and fish till 1 or 2, or leave here at 2 or so and catch the sunrise bite. decisions, decisions.

Anyone up for a Show Down?? Maybe 1 day or half day of serious fishing with beverages to follow. Just an excuse to get together! Plus got some Slabs from XYZ that I need to pass on to some lucky person. An evening trip would be okay too! Your input appreciated if interested. It would be nice to have a BBQ/fish-fry later...maybe close to fall when it cools down some. Either way, if I'm not at work I'll be at the lake.

I think the boat trailer light gods answered my question from earlier. Headed out before the chickens in Greenland are up to see what we can find. Looks like I will have another coach meet me out there. Seems that dbones boy's team beat them tonight. plan is to start with shrimp and little crappie bites them move on to minnows. Maybe shad if I can find them. Anyone have a secret stash? We will launch at Franks or Arrowhead depending on the breeze.

Yes, that was us that beat the Cove Yankees. And yes one of your coaches coaches that team. Talked with him a little the other nite. We played well against them and then couldnt field, catch throw or hit the next game. We got 2nd.....
Both my sons got second.......does that mean they are the first loooooosers..........I think not. They played well and are great kids......I give thanks daily for them......Now on to San Antonio next Wed for TAAF State Track Meet. Oldest is running the 800............dang gas is killing me...............

Do we have to fish to have a beverage outing???????? Congrats to your Boy Dbones, and you too! You one busy fella! And no, we don't have to fish for an outing as such..
