Ah, the sweet smell of Hawaiian Tropic on Medina.. That's usually the best you can hope for on the Dead Sea.. In the summer.. I have fished MaDiner for fourty years and in the dead of summer it can be pretty tough.. 1/4 oz chart/white spinner baits on the boulders just west of Mormons Bluff.. Directly North of Sawmill Cove on that do nothing slabrock bank with small worms, W/M red or Blue fleck in 7".. And Generally just the ends of long deep points and secondary points can be good.. But My go to bait is a 1/5 oz firetiger Bomber A.. Not the Fat one or the thin one.. Just my thoughts.. But enjoy the scenery that is ever growing at the Lake as San Antonio swallows us up..
P.S. Another tool of choice is some Zeiss 10X50 with zoom Binoculars.. Just to see what the other guys are throwin .. :-)
See you on the water..

Hey, I am new to the TFF. I just started fishing Medina Lake this summer. Really have not had much luck... we have been fishing near the dam. We have tried everything to catch a catfish, stink bait, chicken liver worms, minnows. Anyone have any ideas or tips for me?
