If you're running the navionics card, you think that this is the best way to go?

Even without the Navionics card it is good software. Save your money on Mapcreate. Hot Maps Explorer has some value.

Ya, it is cheap and it is very useful. I transfer waypoints to the home PC and I plan stategies for trips. I love it........and did I say cheap!!!

GDM6 and GPSTrackMaker - Both are free

I use GDM6 to split out my track logs from my waypoints then save each to different file names. While I'm in GDM6, I name my tracklog.

I use GPSTrackMaker to manipulate my waypoints. TrackMaker is graphical and has a background map of the US. Makes it easier to label my waypoints based on location on the lake.
