Looking for some real Mexican food---not where all the tourist go.

Mi Tierra's in the Farmer's Market on Produce Row. Great food, great margaritas, reasonable prices. It's a local favorite within reasonable distance from the river walk. Way better than that junk you will get at the river walk. We eat there every time we go to SanTone. You gotta try it for lunch or dinner or both. We just got back from SA two weeks ago. And ate at Mi Tierra's of course.

Blanco Cafe, the original. Blanco @ Hildebrand. Hole in the wall but it's where the locals go.

I second the Blanco cafe,just get there before 11 AM if you plan to eat at noon

Caso Rio. It's on the riverwalk but it's a family run place that's been open for a long time. The fresh corn tortillas are great.

Love that one myself.

There is a place on Fred. Rd in between the Taco Cabana() and Gradys , called Normas place the food is pretty darn good and no tourist like at mi tierra
