Anyone been downrigging on Calaveras or Braunig Lake lately.

The last two trips in June we limited out on redfish at Calaveras and in early July we caught over 50 redfish in the 19" range, in 10' of water 50' off the dam.

Just wondering if anyone has hit it lately.

Ya man I went out about 3 weeks ago and caught stripers and some slot reds at 10 ft.last weekend was crazy.my and a guide friend were trolling around were you stated and were having no luck at 10 then 15 we located a small school deep down 25-26 ft dropped our riggers down and it was on fron 11 to 12:30 we limited out 24-27 very good.so good I wanted to go out the next day sunday the 13.well I tld a friend of mine showed him the pics and got him fired up.so he went sunday.He caught nada.Nothing Thats how it goes.But there out there.Gonna try Braunig.
