My son and I spent 3 1/2 days at Falcon this last week end and had a blast!!! Thur. & Fri. our best 5 would go 20 plus.Sat.the wind killed us and couldn't fish what we found earlier. Sunday I had another 20 plus day and the best part was all my fish came on a white buzz bait in 2 feet of water. My son ,15 years old, took a 6.4 on the same. Only one sad note, I watched my boy lose a monster. I mean a monster,my best is a 12.98 and it made my fish look small! If your going Falcon any time soon fish all the larger rocker points in the Tigers and hold on!!!!!

Me and an old buddy went out today from 7:45 till 1:00.. We only caught 46 fish.. Biggest was a 5.2.. Lots of 2.5 to 3 pounders.. White chart/spinner baits with a BIG nickel blade and Plum Ol Monster worms.. Fish Shallow.. Near rocks..Less than six feet.. Hold On.. Big fun..

See you on the water..

James

James, is there a place to put in closer to the Tigers or do you just make the run from town or the dam area? Ive heard there was a ramp at one time. If so, is it usable?

State park is closer but it may be getting tough to launch there with the lower water levels. There is also a ramp in the back or the tigers but heard the road to it is rediculously rough to get to the ramp.

You can currently launch at the Tigers at Tigre Island Camp.. But the launch is on a gravel bar.. I fished right in front of it the other day and it looked pretty good.. But 4X4 might still be a good idea..

The road in there does stink.. But it is passable.. Tarp your boat for less dust.. State Park is great launch.. 12 mins away by boat at 50 MPH..

Good Luck!

James
