hit a wave and possibly something under the water cuz when i came down i ripped my rivets on one side of my boat and have a black mark on the opposite side of the front of the boat from where i might have hit sumthing under the water. who to go to to get it fixed and can i claim it on my insurance since i was in the water and have full coverage? thanks

What type boat and where are the rivets located.. are they under the front deck?

If so the deck will have to be removed for access to shot solid rivets or you will have to use blind/ Cherry Max rivets and sealant. Hopefully here are no tears in the structural angle that forms the keel seam.

I know a thing or 3 about replacing rivets... and am currently working at Gainesville Airport.. not far from Moss Lake. If you want to bring it by for me to look at give me a holler.

That Cleco was in the bottom. aft of the center fuel bay between the red and white rag.. so you tell me?
