I am headin to Port A in a couple of weeks to let the kids see the gulf for the first time. i have been there years ago. I remeber watching these guys buy the marina catching bait with a cast net by the playground at the boat ramp. I was wondering if a person could do that and then catch anything in the same area just caroina rigging what ever the heck they were catching in that cast net? i know this is a basic stupid question but I am not going to be able to hire a guide and do the real thing out there.
