My inlaws just recently bought a lake house on Lake Conroe.I believe the neighborhood is called Harbour Town....(near the Lighthouse).I was wondering what time of the year could I catch Crappie,Bass,etc from the bank with my kids ? We fished on the 4th of July and caught a few Bluegill,catfish(2 on lures) and a freshwater Drum ? I was using a small H&H spinner and had success with the above fish(just no Bass or Crappie)....Should I be using something else for Bass & Crappie ? Sorry to sound so clueless,I have always fished saltwater and I am now looking forward to fishing closer to the house.Thank you in advance for any recomendations.
