I hung a 9lb flathead on 12 lb test this weekend while bass fishing, and it owned me for a long while. Finally wore him out and got him in the boat. This one must have been lazy.

my buddy was fighting it on my rod and reel, and it drug the boat for about 30 minutes and the boat was anchored,i was just waiting for the line to snap and or rod, i must tie some darn good knots if it kept that bad boy on

that is stren sufix camo, that is one of my soft plastic rods, and yes that is 12lb test, just got done getting all the meat off of it probaly 35 pounds worth, we are going to let it soak for a couple of days and then cook it up, this dang fish could feed a hungry village in africa
