Every night is nice for green lights, just wish the lake was a little closer.

I am ready to get my boat back from the shop so I can get out and do some in the next 2 weeks before we start back up full blow. Going on 3 weeks to get carbs rebuilt

Morning BB. Saw a bunch of cows grazing yesterday morning. Does that mean the morning bite is back on?

Went for the cats yesterday. Bite went hot for about half an hour after the storm blew through. Caught three keepers real quick and then the sun came out and killed it off. The kicker was they were still full of eggs?!? Guess a really late spawn this year. Should have pics up soon.

I thought that Catfish spawn during the summer months.

Dang rain went around Cove yesterday!

Typically they do but its usually in May and June. I did some research to figure out temps etc. Here is what it said:



The current temp at Belton is 84 so I guess this is the tail end of it.

The catfish have been think below the house in the shallow water for the last few days.

Went to the Dock this morning but didnj't fish. One guy was catching nice 2-3 lb channels & blues on chicken livers. On the other end another fisherman was catching LMB. I personally netted about 12 or 13 that went from 3 to 6 lbs. Apparantly the LMB were schooling. All caught at about 25 feet on Texas rigged 6 inch motor oil Berkely Power bait worms.

Got the wife home from her trip but luggage is somewhere between here and England.

May give it a shot this evening if the rain doesn't bubble up. Even though we've had 3/10 at my house in the last two evenings we need rain worse than I need to fish. We will see. Anyone else going?
