I don't post a lot on this forum but I have benefited from the wealth of information obtained here! Just thought we would post how we did just before the storm blew in this evening. We're the couple in the old 1965 Glastron that John Varner affectiontately calls "The Green Turtle". Well the old Carburaters were acting up a little so we were'nt able to go much faster than idle so the first place we checked was the third buoy at I-30 West, BAM, fish on. I'm a lazy fisherman and prefer to go up wind and drift over structure rather than try to hang over it with a trolling motor. We managed to keep 41 good sized Sandies and threw back 12 to 15 undersized Hybrids that definately pulled same drag out. Brodine.
