We are waiting for ours to come in. Wondered if anyone here has experience (good, bad, indifferent) with them.

I mean..if you like riding in a shoebox. I am 6'3" and was very surprised at how much room there was inside. The back seat? That's a different story.

Yeah I know, I had an ex who had one. I always got stuck riding in the backseat..She had a thing with people pressing buttons. I like to press buttons..needless to say her girlfriends got the front seat, I got stuck in the back, and the relationship didn't last long.
But yeah, that backseat..No room at all. I'm 5'10" on a good day and I had to duck.

My cousin's best friend has one and he's 6' or 6'1", but he drives it and not from the backseat (that car reminds me of the one from Police Academy when Hightower learns how to drive)....Hasn't had any problems in the 2 years he's had it....

It's her car. I'm keeping my F150- just leaves more room in the garage for my lawn mower...

Chick car that will get ya around 35mpg. I drive 120 miles round trip 5 times a week. I'm into chick cars these days.

I would not have one as an every day driver but they do look fun to drive. I would opt for a jeep. Drive what you want its your money. If you have fun with that is all that matters.

Did you spring for the "S" model? Hope you did. If you didn't you will alway be wishing that you had. From day "1" keep a diary on it. When it is time to sell it and/or trade it in a good diary and receipts will make you money!!!! I had one in 1967 and it was an Austin Cooper. It was the best car I ever had. Drove that sucker everywhere. Duece and a half flatend it at Ft Riley in 1972.
If you don't know what you are doing keep your hands away from the hood. When kept tuned right and oil changed etc. If will amaze you.

A buddy of mine bought one in '03 for his wife. He still has it and has had no problems. He is a Ford tech and could have bought a Ford for a really good price, but opted for the mini at a different dealership. I have been in it. There is a surprising amount of room in the front seat.

I think I'd rather have a Honda Civic Coupe EX. 36 MPG on the highway. I know, because I just checked my ( soon to be EX) girlfriend's 2006 model. It's fast too...for a 4 cylinder.

got my wife one in May as a graduation present, she freakin' loves the damn thing, convertable. excellent service, excellent car.. it's the closest I'll ever come to owning a BMW as far as service, warranty, etc. It's also cool cause when a hail storm comes, I can fit it in the garage without moving my boat! If I had a ramp, I'd try to fit it in the back of my f250, just for fun.
