Gas if I'm in hurry, but charcoal/hardwoods if I have the time.

I use propane for quickness, but charcoal for flavor.

Charcoal mixed with hardwood.
When you cook with gas, you're cooking just like Burger King.

Charcoal and hardwoods here. Haven't used a gas grill in 3 or 4 years.

Ditto that. It's worth the extra time or it's not worth doing at all.

I also use a chimney starter but I didn't want to go into all that. The chimney starter will get you going pretty quick. Probably not as fast as you can bring a gas grill up to temp but pretty quick.

For grilling it is gas and for smoking it is Kingsford and Pecan and/or Hickory.

Well....I like to use charcoal to do the actual grilling and then finish them off for about 25 seconds on each side on the proprane/ceramic briquet grill....
