i camp a couple of times a year below PK Dam on the Brazos.

Wonderful box canyon right above the water.

Stay within the riverbanks or it is trespassing. We take an annual trip below PK and camp on sandbars.

The box canyon I am refering to is just north of HWY 16 inbetween the dam and the Fish Hatchery. There are about half a dozen campsites in a box canyon full of pecan trees with one side of the canyon overlooking the river.

Ok, we are camping overnight at juniper cove on lake whitney (feel free to join us at camp sight 11, tonight. Then we float the brazos tomorrow on the 9th. At 8 am.
