Here is another nice sunfish, a wee-tiny black sunfish.

Hopefully he will have a large mouth sometime next year.


My hand is actually about the size of the three fingers on the left...so a three inch fish.

Ditto on the green sunfish. They provide much needed entertainment on the 4lb test rig.

greens, an 8 incher on UL, fights like a bass, nails lures.

Ive got a feeder creek to the Trinity , bout 5 minute walk. lots of greens.

For me I like the longear because of its color and the creek by my house is flooded with them. My secomd favorite is probably the flier or the green because of there aggressiveness. I once caught a 1 pound flier of a fly in a creek that was about 6ft wide.
