Billy, I have my slabs trained, they like lite beer although I thought I had them on the bud light.... Sorry to hear it was a tough day for ya johnnlucky, the sun will rise again though.

That is an old species of striped lite beer bass. i use to catch them by the 6 packs. TNT slabs will catch all kinds of unique items.

I know the feeling. The other day while slabbing, I caught a rock. Today while slabbing, I caught a wire rod bent into the shape of an "S". As with your beer can, some how these always manage to stay on the hook - - only fish get off

Sorry about the date. It was today 7-6-2008. The lite beer was biting this morning at 10:21 at deadmans. I have marked the exact place on my Lowrance as way point #27. Lite beer can.

I was just on the post about 4 drowning on Lewisville Lake this weekend. prayers sent to everyone. It just puts life into prospective.

Did you keep the can or thow it back? how was the fight?

The fight was good and it took me quite a while to get the Miller Lite beer can to the edge of the boat. I was happy to get a picture of the beer can before a huge wave from a 9 jet skis came and rocked the boat. When i caught my balance the alway tasty beer was gone. I was shaken by the experience so i decieded to go to the store and buy 24 of the always refreshing cans of beer and i tried to drink them in honor of my catch. I will try to honor the catch by drinking beer as much as possible.
